Had an amazing day?
Jot down all you can
remember while the
memories are fresh.
Retell the story. The best day of our lives was when my
husband and I found out I was pregnant. With typed
journaling, I shared the history leading up to that day
and how we each received the wonderful news. Find a
photo. I knew I needed a photo to balance all the text
on my page, but I didn’t have one from that day—or
even that year. (I wasn’t a scrapbooker at the time!) A
recent photo taken with my husband worked in a pinch.

If you don’t have a
photo from your best
day, use journaling or
memorabilia to tell the
story instead.
